This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Oxford, AL. Serving primarily elementary and middle school populations, this role involves coverage across 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school, supporting students with targeted speech and language needs.

Responsibilities include conducting pull-out therapy sessions in a dedicated speech room, managing small caseloads to ensure individualized attention, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development. This contract role spans the full academic year, making a lasting impact on students’ progress over time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license is required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric and school-age populations
  • Ability to manage caseloads and deliver pull-out services effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with teletherapy services is a plus but not required
