A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a school setting near Oxnard, CA, for the 2023-24 school year. This role involves serving middle and high school students with a full caseload, providing both direct and indirect speech-language services throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in middle and high school
- Manage a full-time caseload with consistent direct and indirect service hours
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable to extend service reach
Qualifications:
- Active or pending state SLP license is required
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with IEP processes is preferred but not mandatory
- Certification such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology highly valued
- Skills in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy service delivery are beneficial
- Eligibility to work full-time, five days per week throughout the school year
