Located in Parkville, MD, this contract opportunity seeks qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with active Maryland professional licensure to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting. The assignment supports diverse student populations across community preschools, elementary, and middle schools within Baltimore area public schools.
Assignment Details:
- Start Dates and Durations: • Community Preschool Itinerant: January 9, 2026 – ongoing, serving preschool students five days a week. • Elementary (PreK–5th grade): February 16, 2026 – May 29, 2026, with possible extension into Extended School Year (ESY) in July. • Middle School (6th–8th grade): March 16, 2026 – June 18, 2026, with ESY extension option; includes supervision of a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
- Weekly Hours: • Full-time roles: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (two positions). • Part-time role: 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with potential for five-day coverage.
- School Sites: • Community Preschool locations (itinerant with travel between sites). • Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week). • Aberdeen Middle School.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language pathology services to students ranging from preschool to middle school, collaborating closely with educational and therapy teams, and supervising supporting personnel where applicable. Candidates must hold active Maryland licensure and demonstrate proficiency in managing speech service delivery in educational environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maryland Professional Licensure (required).
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool to middle school age groups.
- Ability to supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
