Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Paynesville, Minnesota

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 school setting. The role offers a contract position during the current school year with a full-time weekly schedule.

Location: Paynesville, MN
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

• SLP hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM
• SLPA position serves multiple buildings, covering both elementary and secondary schools

Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC preferred)
• Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP candidates
• Relevant SLPA licensure or certification if applying for the assistant role
• Ability to work effectively across multiple buildings (SLPA role)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment and screening of speech, language, and communication skills
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
