Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Peoria, IL

An opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in pediatric care, specifically within an educational setting. This role is designed for a professional passionate about supporting the communicative needs of young children, aged 6 months to 5 years, across three school sites in East Peoria, IL.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
• Knowledge and experience with teletherapy practices
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with early childhood development and common speech disorders

Location:

• East Peoria, IL, serving at three different early childhood school sites

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs of students
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ goals
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student care
