An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional. This contract position is located in Wilmington, DE, within a dynamic middle school environment, and focuses on supporting students' communication needs for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
Location: Wilmington, DE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the multidisciplinary team
