A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics and school settings is sought to provide comprehensive therapy services in a high school environment. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 16 students, focusing primarily on group therapy sessions alongside individual treatment plans. The position is ideal for clinicians with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and experience in both healthcare and educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide tailored therapy to students.
  • Implement effective group and individual treatment plans to address diverse communication needs.
  • Manage student caseloads, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with educators and families.
  • Participate in case management activities, including progress monitoring and team meetings.
  • Adhere to established schedules and therapy goals throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings.
  • Familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) requirements and supportive of ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to manage case loads efficiently while delivering quality therapy services.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Position Details:

  • Location: Philadelphia, PA.
  • Duration: Contract, school year (CSY).
  • Schedule: 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Work days: 3 to 5 days per week with flexibility for part-time arrangements; consistent scheduling required once established for the school year.
