This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 16 students, focusing primarily on group therapy sessions alongside individual treatment plans. The position is ideal for clinicians with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and experience in both healthcare and educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide tailored therapy to students.
- Implement effective group and individual treatment plans to address diverse communication needs.
- Manage student caseloads, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with educators and families.
- Participate in case management activities, including progress monitoring and team meetings.
- Adhere to established schedules and therapy goals throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings.
- Familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) requirements and supportive of ongoing professional development.
- Ability to manage case loads efficiently while delivering quality therapy services.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Philadelphia, PA.
- Duration: Contract, school year (CSY).
- Schedule: 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Work days: 3 to 5 days per week with flexibility for part-time arrangements; consistent scheduling required once established for the school year.
