Pediatric Speech Therapist in Philadelphia, PA

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available in Philadelphia, PA, serving an early childhood school. This position focuses on providing therapy to students aged Kindergarten through 4th grade during the 2025-2026 contract school year.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) credential preferred
• Experience working in school-based settings, pediatric healthcare, or early childhood education
• Skilled in completing Evaluation Reports (ERs), Re-evaluation Reports (RRs), and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to progress monitor students and collaborate effectively with teachers and parents
• Familiarity with pediatric caseloads ranging from 10 to 20 students

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week (2 days per week), 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: November 5, 2025 – June 12, 2026
Caseload: Kindergarten to 4th grade students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop and maintain IEPs tailored to student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to support student outcomes

This position offers the chance to work in a specialized early childhood setting with a manageable caseload, providing impactful intervention during critical school years. Interviews with the director are preferred on Wednesday or Friday of the current week.
