An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide impactful support within an elementary school setting in Peoria, AZ. This contract position for the school year is ideal for professionals dedicated to enhancing the communication abilities of students facing speech and language disorders.
Location: Peoria, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students to assess speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide therapy sessions focused on achieving specific speech and language goals.
- Carefully monitor and document student progress throughout the therapy process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
- Engage and educate families regarding the therapy process and their child's progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Preference for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
