A contract position in Phoenix, AZ is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in an elementary school setting for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality speech and language services to pediatric students, supporting their communication development within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Carefully monitor and document student progress and adjust plans as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and specialists to ensure consistent, coordinated care
  • Engage with and educate families to promote their involvement in the therapy process

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
