A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school setting from early May through June 9. This full-time contract position focuses on K-12 caseloads, primarily serving students with center-based needs, including those with aggressive behaviors and autism. Adequate support will be provided to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Managing a caseload that involves working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors and autism within a center-based setting.
- Supporting communication goals during an extended school year (ESY) program, with extension likely beyond the initial contract period.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification.
- Experience working within school environments, preferably with K-12 students.
- Strong skills in managing students with autism and behavioral challenges.
- Ability to handle caseloads independently while collaborating effectively with educational teams.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based therapy and fostering positive student outcomes.
