This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to enhancing the communication skills of students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Arkansas SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
- ASHA certification is a plus, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and treatment documentation
Location: Hensley, AR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in IEPs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
