A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an early childhood school located in Piqua, OH. The role offers an opportunity to work with preschool-aged children in a supportive environment alongside a team of 3-4 experienced SLPs. This contract position spans the current school year, providing consistent hours and a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to PreK students using a push-in model.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students in the classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with program guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly early childhood or school-based environments.
  • Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) standards is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
  • Skilled in delivering speech therapy services using a push-in model.

Position Details:

  • Location: Piqua, Ohio
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday), with a 30-minute daily lunch break.
  • Start Date: Flexible; ideally around January 5th to coincide with school breaks.
  • End Date: May 18, 2026
  • Caseload: Approximately 36 children at the start of the contract.
