A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Plainfield, IL. This leave replacement role offers a chance to provide essential speech and language support to young students in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Licensed or certified as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - School)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
