An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school in Plano, TX for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves working a full 40-hour week with a mixed caseload serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade. The position requires immediate availability and will continue through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs from K-12.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in meetings regarding student evaluations and IEP reviews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children in a K-12 educational setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload effectively.
