An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Lincoln, NE. This role is critical in providing speech and language services to help students achieve their educational goals for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Nebraska Speech-Language Pathologist certification.
- Valid Nebraska state teaching certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:
Lincoln, NE
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, developing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide therapy services to a diverse student population, including those from birth to high school age.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement IEP goals and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
