A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Savannah, GA, serving a K-8 middle school setting. This position requires an active Georgia SLP license and GaPSC certification, supporting speech and language development for students in a dynamic educational environment. The role is onsite, providing direct services during a standard 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification
- Experience with K-8 student populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary school team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
