A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician is needed to provide in-person support for a K-12 school setting in Portage, MI, for the full school year. This contract position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to students, enhancing their communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Provide direct therapy services and support within the school environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or eligible CFY candidate
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and working within a school or healthcare setting
- Ability to work full time, providing services in-person throughout the entire school year
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
