A K-12 school in Porterville, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contracted position during the current school year (CSY). This role requires delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to students across all grade levels, supporting their communication development within the educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification or license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience
- Experience working in school-based environments with K-12 students
- Ability to design and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and other support staff
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Provide consultative support to teachers and parents regarding communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) sessions
