Join a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role centered in Portland, ME, supporting an elementary school setting. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 10, 2026, with in-person responsibilities three days per week. The role focuses on managing an elementary caseload, ideal for SLP professionals with experience in school environments, pediatric care, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) practitioners seeking valuable hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in need
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Participate in team meetings to align goals and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with school and healthcare regulations related to speech therapy services

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric clients in schools or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP service delivery models
  • Completion or ongoing participation in CFY is highly valued

Location & Schedule:
