A dynamic opportunity exists for an experienced candidate to support the needs of students in a middle school setting. This contract position is based in Gresham, OR, and is set to commence in mid-May, extending through the school year.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision experience
- Previous experience working in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Proficiency in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
Location: Gresham, Oregon
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and continue to monitor and adjust therapy as needed.
