A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available to provide specialized support to high school students within a K-12 educational setting in Portland, OR. This temporary contract position covers a maternity leave from February 19, 2026, through May 14, 2026, and offers approximately 20 hours per week at a single school location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to high school students, addressing communication disorders to support academic and social success.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and maintain clear communication regarding student progress and therapy goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Oregon state licensure issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with high school-aged students in a school setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
Location:
- Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, at a designated high school within the district.
