A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Pottstown, PA. This contract role runs from mid-March through the end of the school year, with the possibility to extend through the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The 37.5-hour workweek involves serving a K-5 grade caseload, focusing on a diverse student population with a variety of speech and language needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing direct therapy services tailored to students' specific needs
  • Supporting students with typical speech concerns as well as those diagnosed with Autism and requiring Life Skills support
  • Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote student progress

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
  • Strong knowledge of speech disorders and therapeutic approaches for Autism and Life Skills populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload within a single school environment
