An opportunity is available for an experienced candidate to provide essential support in a high school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to work three days a week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
• Commitment to collaborating with educational staff and families

Location:

• Pawtucket, RI

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the needs of students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring speech therapy
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
