An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital support in an early childhood setting. This contract position spans from May 2025 to June 2025, requiring a dedicated professional to address the diverse needs of students within a full-time, 33 hours per week schedule.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Previous experience working with early childhood populations
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Location: Warwick, RI
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in early childhood students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and IEP outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
