An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact within a K-12 educational environment. This part-time position focuses on serving middle and high school students, providing essential speech-language pathology services two days a week.
Qualifications:
- Current Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in middle and high school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and inclusionary practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Warwick, RI
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in an inclusionary model
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and serve as a case manager for assigned students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ overall development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
