Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cranston, RI

Dynamic opportunity available for a skilled candidate in a K-12 setting, focused on providing exceptional support to students during the extended school year. This contract position runs from June 30 to July 31, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Relevant experience working with K-12 students
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding special education

Location:

• Cranston, Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with educators and other specialists to create and implement IEPs
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Engage with families to support students’ communication needs
