Dynamic opportunity available for a skilled candidate in a K-12 setting, focused on providing exceptional support to students during the extended school year. This contract position runs from June 30 to July 31, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 12 PM.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Relevant experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding special education
Location:
- Cranston, Rhode Island
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to create and implement IEPs
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Engage with families to support students’ communication needs
