Speech Language Pathologist in Providence, RI

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in both an elementary school and an early learning center. This contract position offers a guaranteed schedule with consistent hours, designed to support students in developing essential communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with speech and language impairments.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
• Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with professional standards.
• Participate in team meetings and provide consultation on language development strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status.
• Experience working in educational settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric speech-language development and intervention techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations including elementary and early childhood learners.
