A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in both an elementary school and an early learning center. This contract position offers a guaranteed schedule with consistent hours, designed to support students in developing essential communication skills.
Location: Providence and Pawtucket, RI
Role Duration: School Year Contract (CSY)
Settings: Elementary School and Early Learning Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with professional standards.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation on language development strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech-language development and intervention techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations including elementary and early childhood learners.
