This contract role offers the opportunity to serve as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working primarily with elementary students, along with a smaller caseload of high school students. The position spans from January 5th, 2026, through April 2026 and is based in Purcellville, VA, within Frederick County Public Schools.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication needs. The schedule is full-time, 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 35 hours per week.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Valid VA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with both elementary and high school populations
- Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
