Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Quarryville, PA

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time maternity leave contract position serving K-12 students in Quarryville, PA. This role runs from January 12 through May 1 and focuses primarily on an elementary caseload of 50-55 students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders among school-age children
• Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with teachers and families
• Conducting screenings and assessments to monitor student progress
• Delivering direct therapy services focusing on pediatric speech and language needs
• Documenting therapy outcomes and maintaining compliant records
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings
• Capability to manage a caseload of elementary-aged students effectively
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or recently licensed SLPs welcomed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents, and staff
