Seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting in Elgin, IL. This full-time position involves working with a diverse student population, addressing various communication needs from August 2025 to June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Location:
Elgin, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 40-50 students
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training
