Located in Antioch, IL, this position is within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on providing speech services to K-5 students. The role is designed to support approximately 50 students, addressing their diverse communication needs during a contract period that spans from August 19, 2025, to November 7, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in SLP
- Valid state license in SLP
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education endorsement in SLP
- Certificate (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with young children
Location:
- Antioch, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
- Provide direct services to students, facilitating their communication skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for students
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with state regulations
