Speech Therapist in Antioch, IL

Located in Antioch, IL, this position is within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on providing speech services to K-5 students. The role is designed to support approximately 50 students, addressing their diverse communication needs during a contract period that spans from August 19, 2025, to November 7, 2025.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in SLP
• Valid state license in SLP
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education endorsement in SLP
• Certificate (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with young children

Location:

• Antioch, IL

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
• Provide direct services to students, facilitating their communication skills
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for students
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with state regulations
