An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an engaging elementary school environment. This role focuses on addressing the needs of a mild-moderate population, ensuring that each student receives the necessary guidance and services to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending California SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- ASHA certification preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience with IEPs, assessments, and treatment documentation
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
Location:
El Cajon, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Manage a caseload of up to 55 students
