A K-12 school in Reading, PA is seeking an onsite speech therapist to support one student requiring specialized services. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and involves direct therapy and collaborative meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy sessions twice weekly, each lasting one hour, tailored to the individual student's needs
- Participate in monthly meetings held via Zoom, approximately one and a half hours in duration, to discuss student progress and coordinate care
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the student’s learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication skills for virtual and in-person collaboration
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
