Speech Language Pathologist in Redwood City, CA

A Leave Contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification in Redwood City, CA. Serving K-12 students, this full-time position requires a commitment from August 11 to November 10, working 35 hours per week to provide crucial speech and language therapy services during a staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Current state licensure and eligibility to work in California schools
• Experience working with children across the K-12 spectrum is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a school-based setting
