Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) to practice in Washington
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with children, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based population
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions within classroom and small group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and provide ongoing communication to families and staff
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and relevant professional development
- Serve as a resource to teachers and other school personnel regarding speech and language concerns
