Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) to practice in Washington
  • Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with children, families, and educational staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based population
  • Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Implement evidence-based therapy interventions within classroom and small group settings
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and provide ongoing communication to families and staff
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and relevant professional development
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and other school personnel regarding speech and language concerns
