A bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting. This position offers a .5 Full-Time Equivalent (approximately 20 hours per week) contract role, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. There is potential for this role to increase to full-time based on student needs.
The position involves working across three campuses, offering a dynamic and supportive environment that values collaboration and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students across K-12 grades.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Provide culturally responsive services to a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and CCC from ASHA.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (essential for communication and service delivery).
- Experience working with school-age children in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
