This contract position focuses on helping students with speech and language disorders, ensuring they receive the guidance and therapy needed to succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that target specific speech and language goals.
- Monitor and document student progress meticulously, adjusting treatment as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
- Involve and educate families in the therapy process to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preference for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students and staff.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
