This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact within an elementary school setting. The position is based in Riverside, CA, and runs on a contract basis from ASAP through June of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication strategies within the school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with relevant licensure for the state of California
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably elementary grades
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as evidence-based therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload within the school environment
