A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support an elementary school in Riverside, Illinois, beginning December 1, 2025, through the remainder of the academic year. This school-based role focuses on serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade, delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to promote effective communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K–8 students addressing a range of communication needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Implement targeted interventions tailored to each student’s goals.
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain precise documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reporting.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to team goal setting and planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs.

- Full-time contract position, starting 12/1/2025 and concluding at the end of the academic year.
- Location: Elementary school in Riverside, Illinois.
- Caseload includes students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
