A reputable school district in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position at a modern middle school facility. The school features newly rebuilt, state-of-the-art office space, providing an excellent work environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve approximately 60 middle school students, including those in a self-contained/cluster program focused on Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district policies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida SLP license.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable; however, licensed SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are highly preferred.
- Experience or interest in working with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders is a plus.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates will be considered.
Location: Bradenton, FL – Middle school setting with excellent facilities.
Contract Duration: Available immediately through May 29, 2026.
