A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Rochester, NY. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students throughout the school year by delivering individualized therapy aimed at improving speech and language skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide direct therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document progress with detailed records to track student development
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process through education and communication

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must hold an active state license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
