An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students in a K-12 educational setting, focusing on enhancing their communication and learning skills. This contract position is located in Freeport, IL, and runs from August 11, 2025, to May 21, 2026, with a workload of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students' needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care.
- Modify tasks and learning environments to facilitate student participation.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver comprehensive reports on student progress.
- Develop and implement IEP objectives and necessary accommodations.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to discuss developmental milestones and areas needing support.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to varying needs.
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students, is preferred.
