A dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide essential communication services in a K-12 school setting located in Loves Park, IL. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives from June 2025 through June 2026, working with a diverse caseload that spans various ages.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.S. / M.A.) in Communication Disorders
- Licensed or License-eligible for the state of IL
- Illinois PEL Certification
- ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience as a School-Based SLP or with pediatric populations is a plus
Location: Loves Park, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ communication skills
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with other Special Education professionals to enhance students’ learning experiences
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide direct services to students with varying disabilities affecting their communication
