A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Roseburg, OR for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from approximately August 18, 2025, through June 10, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role requires providing speech and language services to a caseload of about 50 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Travel as required to serve multiple school locations within the district
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in an educational setting from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between school sites
