A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Roseburg, OR for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from approximately August 18, 2025, through June 10, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role requires providing speech and language services to a caseload of about 50 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
  • Travel as required to serve multiple school locations within the district

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between school sites
