A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year and involves working with a diverse K-12 population, fostering communication skills in students across various developmental stages. The role is based in Roseburg, OR, where you will join a dedicated educational environment committed to student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring interventions to unique communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification with credentials to practice in educational settings.
  • Experience working with children in a school environment preferred.
  • Caseload management skills and ability to adapt therapy strategies for varying age groups.
  • Open to clinical fellows; new graduates with strong clinical skills and enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.
  • Flexibility and sensitivity to district preferences and requirements.
