This contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Roseville, CA, for the current school year (CSY). The role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to support students’ communication development and academic success.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing individual goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions focused on articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication needs
- Monitor, document, and report student progress accurately
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Engage families by educating and involving them throughout the therapy process
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California is required
