This role is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in K-12 educational settings, providing services to children with speech and language disorders. Working under a contract during the school year, this position offers an opportunity to deliver impactful therapy in a dynamic school environment located in Roseville, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions aimed at improving speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress carefully and maintain detailed documentation of outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care
- Engage with families to support their involvement and understanding of the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students, families, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
