Qualifications:

  • Current Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and high school settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location:

  • Homer, Louisiana

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services.
  • Deliver effective therapy interventions tailored to students' needs, particularly in elementary and high school caseloads.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate communication goals into daily classroom activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Conduct parent conferences and communicate regularly regarding student progress.
