This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. The role involves managing caseloads of students with speech and language disorders throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Lead therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
  • Accurately monitor and document progress in student communication abilities
  • Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care
  • Involve families actively in the therapy process through education and communication

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively in team settings as well as independently

Licensure:

  • Must hold an active state license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
